Poplar Bark Siding Process

At BarkClad, we take pride in our meticulous process. Our natural poplar bark siding is sourced directly from poplar trees, carefully hand-peeled, dried in a certified kiln, and then hand-cut right here at our facility. Each piece is stacked, loaded, and shipped out within a week to ensure it retains its exceptional natural integrity. This dedication to craftsmanship is what we call the BarkClad process.

It’s worth noting that our natural bark siding naturally ages and changes color over time, especially when exposed to direct sunlight, enhancing its rustic appeal. However, BarkClad does not extend warranties on the natural bark siding beyond the cutting of the packaging bands. This is because the correct installation is crucial for the longevity of the siding. Remember, our natural bark siding is a kiln-dried wood product, free from any additives or preservatives, staying true to its natural beauty.

Found gracing the exteriors and interiors of distinguished homes, estates, and cottages across 49 states in the U.S. and throughout Canada, BarkClad is the preferred natural bark siding for those seeking to create a stunning, natural, rustic wood appearance.

Important Purchase & Installation Information

Please note, all sales are final with no returns. It’s important to measure carefully. Ensure all bark is stored flat and kept dry prior to installation. Remove any plastic or other coverings immediately upon arrival to prevent moisture buildup on the panels.

For our international customers, please be aware that all shipping costs, tariffs, fees, and taxes will be your responsibility. Payments made by credit card will incur a 3% convenience fee. Full payment of the invoice must be completed and cleared before shipping orders. Proper installation of bark siding is crucial for its longevity, and as such, no warranties apply to the product once shipped.
